Our 9th year to celebrate “A Leavenworth Christmas”. It will sell out again so get on the list. What a wonderful way to get in the mood for the holidays with an authentic horse-drawn sleigh ride, Christmas caroling and sightseeing in this Bavarian style village. You will feel like you traveled to Bavaria! We have the charming Enzian Inn reserved (where the alpenhorns play).

 

SEP 2010 – Oberammergau
Imperial cities and the Passion Play featuring Vienna, Budapest “The Queen of the Danube,” Prague, Salzburg (Mozart’s birthplace) and Innsbruck in the heart of the Alps.  Travel through the scenic part of Hungary to the Republic of Slovakia.  Enjoy the Passion Play which originally took place in 1634. During the 30-Year War, the village of Oberammergau was spared the Black Plague and for this reason, the villagers vowed that every ten years they would give a play to honor the life of Christ.
